Subject: Great.. Now Global Warming causes a weak basis..

"As the polar jet moves back north, the weather may be improving, but the event will have a substantial hangover in the grain industry."

well maybe Al Gore will bring me around some day yet.  ;-)

It's been kind of slow out here also.. late harvest.. piles to pick up.. users other than having coverage during the snow storms.. "not in a hurry."  Livestock need something though to keep them warm.

Ray any thoughts on 2010.. acres.. carry out etc.  With all the ethanol plants coming back online.. might need to keep the feed grain prices stoked..???  Is there room to switch production from some of the other crops.. Wheat looking heavy.. SAm Soy harvest just around the corner... one of these days.. might not hit trendline corn yields..  2010 would be a bad time?

What would you consider a safe Carry-over given a demand base of 13+ Billion and trending higher?  Some say China's currency may become unpegged from the dollar...???
