Yes, quality is an issue. For the rrv the much of the corn struggled to make maturity, many elevators are averaging 50-52 pound corn, so trains going west doesnt matter as the pnw wont take that low test weight corn. In fact I have seen alot of corn in the 46-48 pound range. Not good.
