| Well, really, that's the point of the sea, and clouds, and water vapor, and the whole mess. But, the Sea has by far the biggest influence, because it has by far the largest mass. The mass of the seas is orders of magnitude above the mass of the atmosphere, so it is the dominating influence, and can act as a "governor" of sorts. The governor is functioning right now to try to maintain the current temperature. A few years of reduced sunspots should be interesting. | |
