Is the futures market telling us that wheat acres are below pre-report guesses. In srw I believe so. I sent this to my broker yesterday: I think all of the market is high on srw acres. I have talked to several university wheat specialists through-out the srw states and everyone of them said the acres in their state are down a minimum 30%. 30% off of last years 8.3 millin gives you 5.8 million and that couldbe high. Will USDA come out with hat low of a number? On top of that probably 10% of what got planted won't go to harvest due to late seeding and stand establishmnt JMO
In the end it won't surprise me if harvested srw acres are 5 million. JMO
