Central Missouri
Did you ever think they would pass healthcare over the will of the people. Some even threw their political careers under the bus. It may even be both parties because we will be in a "National Crisis" so to speak. Well we are already in a national fiscal crisis. They are just able to cover it up with newly minted USD paper. Once the cover-up ends they will have to come up with other ways to paper it over until either the economy picks up via inflation or the system implodes. Til then it won't surprise me at all what gimmicks they come up with to kick the can down the road.

Maybe they have realized, because our creditors have told them, that they (creditors) aren't gonna buy our paper anymore until we get our fiscal house in order. Well we can't get our fiscal house in order. The national budget is 6.4 trillion and the deficit is projected to be 1.4 trillion with tax revenues shrinking and more people unemployed each month; and a banking system that is insolvent only kept alive by QE. Not to mention the mess the states are in. So the foreign creditors aren't gonna finance our deficit who is? Well people will if interest rates are high enough. How high does that have to be and how much will high interest rates slow the economy thus shrinking revenue to the govt. Oh the pickle we are in.
It won't surprise me what lengths the govt will go to - to continue kicking the can down the road.
