Subject: RE: New glasses have a film?

Kingston,Mi
How about noticing that my aged pair of plastic lenses developed a yellow tint similar to shooting glasses. My thoughts are the tint came from backflash at my wood furnace outside ( has trimmed my eyebrows).

Have always had glass lenses because they are more robust, this prescription in an existing set of frames, at the same office was only available in plastic according to the fitter. Previous perscription in these frames were glass.

Agree with having to clean several times a day with !) mild soap and a sft cloth, 2) spray lense cleaner supplied by the optometrist, 3)lense cloths from Bausch & Lomb.

I think they are "upselling" because they can explain "we can't get them any other way".
