Milford, IL | Yes, honey is food, missed that one. It would have been more accurate to say - with a few exceptions, if it doesn't rot it's not healthy food.
One of my sisters is a registered dietician, when she talks about food I try to listen. Two of the things she regularly tells patients - 'everything is okay in moderation, except trans fats.' And, 'if it has more than ten ingredients, its not healthy food'. Spices are exempt from the ten ingredient rule. If the nutrition label has a bunch of crap you wouldn't eat by itself (excluding spices) then don't eat it when its blended together.
