I had both shoulders replaced two years ago. Reverse procedure with bone graft due to wear, second was done in late Feb and was able to do all planting. My advise would be not to wait they won't get better by themselves. I have had excellent results and still gaining strength . i didn't realize how much I had lost. Reaching behind my back is the only real motion lost. Did the home exercises no formal PT Good luck
