Subject: 40 years of Dec corn history

Thought this forum could use a little "getting back to marketing" info. Obviously, getting the high is not a realistic proposition, but thought this info of the last 40 years would be a good start to some discussion of timing in a market. Interesting that in the last three years, the highest price has been in June. Any bets that this year will be different? (A disclaimer, I know that the markets were higher previous to the one year time frame that I used, but this is what I track for my own marketing. If any of ya'll were smart enough to sell $6 corn 2+ years in advance, my hat's off to you.) Just using history, there is a 5/40 or a 12.5% chance that the high is in for the 2010 crop.
