East half of sask goes east if char cross.
Yeah I would think most of my char crosses go east but that was only about half of my bunch. The other half are bred black angus. There used to be a char premium but it's kind of fallen away these last couple of years so I'm probably going to drop the half that was getting the terminal char cross from my program for the sake of simplicity and to have more available to choose from for replacements. I also haven't been pushing them hard enough to get any difference in weight gain on the chars vs the angus so there's not much point for my operation. |
