speaking of pessimists and optomists, I look at it this way. Instead of having billions of chinese (and russians, indians, etc) living in poverty and thus unable to afford our grain/meat, now there are billions that are getting wealthier every day. Maybe not all of them are rich by our standards, but richer than they were. Borders are getting more open to US exports than they were in the past. Hungry mouths doesn't mean much, hungry mouths that are looking to buy food....that is good for ag irregardless of what happens here in the US, The glass IS half full.
