E. CO, exactly half way between NE and OK | The big wire roller was built from things we had around the place. The frame is part of a Miller rod weeder frame, the axle is off an old truck, the engine is one we had around here, the clutch is off a swather that engages the header, the transmission is a four speed out of an old truck, the spool brake is the front air brake off a truck, the spool is made out of an old fuel tank we flattened out and formed the cone shape so the wire would unroll easer, the handle for the wire guide is part of a sucker rod, and the rest is pipe and square tubing we had around here.
I hope Sparkie doesn't see this, he thinks everyone goes to town and buys new. |
