Can you source old disk blades? Use 4 inch pipe on inside and roll a 1/4 mile at s time with a heavy duty hyd motor. I wouldn't do more than half a mile on a rile myself, you may be sturdier lol.
When I built the first one, I couldn't find a better used blade on the place. We have a lot of them now. I built things with what we had and I didn't have any money to go to town and buy anything. We don't use that wire roller much any more, we have rolled up a lot of junk wire with it. A half mile roll of barbed wire is enough for me to lift. |
