| When the stocks report is released questions about crop size will remain & also usage since we lack an accurate measure of the past crop. I do not recall a similar circumstance.
If markets are inverted reflecting hot demand....watch out...when markets are docile & choppy searching for an anchor also watch out....more mouths to feed every day....
The bulls will have a story....speculative as there remains an unknown as to size of crop and quality. But the bears will also have a story.
Finished with the hog analysis & working on cattle....going to see big SA crop of beans barring some shock from mother nature...
What does the future hold?
In politics, those who bring $$$ to the table are the real movers...they call the shots.
Most politicians recognize unrest in the countryside.....we may have a one term President at the helm.....I sense some potential excitement...
A couple of Dem's have proven ability to bring piles of money to the table......consider the current President as the holder of the BIG LOLLYPOP (sucker to city folks)--some of his probs may be originating from his own party...you have the Chicago Machine & the Other Two. A lot of shadow expertise within both groups.
In history, the owner of the BIG LOLLYPOP has a place....a strategy? Economy in the tank....take the bad news early....however have a plan b in case economic recovery is bleak.....remember the phrase used against G. Bush 1? "It's the economy stupid." The current President has an interesting situation.....a very ambitious individual sits in on all key meetings....senses the game plan.....knows the game plan.....
Oftentimes, when no one knows what anything is worth (ag crops) due to uncertainty (crop size & usage) is the time for real opportunity particularly when the Holder of the BIG LOLLYPOP SCRAMBLES FROM ONE PLAN TO ANOTHER to discover none of them work.
A brief study of revolution implies 'pay attention to the Serfs'.....however, in the USA, the Serfs (growing daily) are gaining cradle to the grave security ....everyone wants to be a millionaire & no one wants to pay taxes....by law, the employer withholds taxes from the Serfs...but Big Government does reward them....As long as the Serf's plod along daily & are occupied with earning a livlihood or unoccupied with whatever....Big Goverment survives......the system can change by 'voting the bums out' or by revolution.....Serfs are usually the cannon fodder....USA Serfs are possibly happier than the Serfs of olde (Russia & France).....USA Serfs are eating cake....We are empowering Big Government even more....going to revolt on paying your taxes? Where will your support come from? The Serfs? Nope. The Serfs have cake.
OUR REAL OWNERS ARE BUILDING NEW HOMES IN CHINA....Their children are seeking Ex-USA opportunity.
