Subject: not necessarily "top farmland"

sw ontario
--but a reasonable place too invest due too gov't stability (we may re-consider that idea soon)--ukraine ,land alone the nile and amazon is super productive--some areas can double crop..a business associate was farming in Angola for 3 generations and they where given 24 hrs. notice too leave there farm (1,500 acres and 300 sows f-f) and all they left with was what went into a range rover,,wife didn't drive so they got out with 1 vehicle and there lives--and surprisingly the guy is not bitter,,Angola gov't asked them back a few yrs. later as farm was basically destroyed by "natives" but they had enough and moved on too Portugal, england and then ending up in Canada.but lots of "politics" involved...rather than investors owning it and renting too farmers I would much rather see a way farmers could be the owners as hopefully we don't return too being just sharecroppers and tenants for ever...VERY GOOD interesting article though--thanks -a good read
