I use Anderson style plugs for connection power source for a sprayer and while connected they have worked great (way better then the failed round plug). Just a dust cover when disconnected so depending on conditions might be worth getting a second to help keep it more sealed when disconnected but have been very happy. Know your amp load when selecting and I typically make sure plug isn't the weak point from that standpoint. If any issue it is way easier to clean large blade sytle disconnects then round pins and sockets.
