SE IL | Maybe so, these were quotes as of less than 1 yr ago. The building materials I am told have since went down some and yes concrete up. Some guys are getting massive amounts in big doors also that aren’t a necessity unless coming in and out a lot daily. Price I got was 24k for a 30x16 and Iirc 14k for a 20x16. Obviously down here we don’t get the snow and ice you guys do which is why I said “here”. Dropping 40-50k on doors for a shop is a nice want but not a need. Those doors won’t make you a better mechanic. Before someone says overheads seal up better I call BS. Work with some everyday and when the wind is blowing a slide will seal just as good. Yes the flip out style seal great. Like with many things in farming so many things are want vs need. | |
