Nw Iowa | I have just finished a pole building I made into a shop. Slightly over 25$ a sq ft for wiring, cement ( put drain and foam under cement) , spray foam, tube heaters and a small corner 200 sq ft bathroom, break area. Does not include electrical service, overhead door which was already in building. Shop will not win any top shop contests as it is pretty basic but well insulated and very functional. Priced a shell for another building, lumberyard thought around 15-16 a sq ft for materials and about 6 a sq ft to put up. Would include a couple of midsize roll up doors. ( not my building but had just priced it for another customer) so that I had a idea for cost. He said lumber still going down but not as drastic, steel trickling down. So 50$ a sq ft for a pole building finished into a shop. My 200sq ft restroom, break room, really got expensive but in the 25 a sq ft. I did a few things but most labor in the 25. | |
