WNW Illinois, Henry Co | I know some of you think it is nothing but go ahead a use the handicapped stall in the bathroom, but my wife has been in a wheelchair for 25 years now and it is so aggravating to go in to the Ladies room (yes, I go in too) and the only handicapped stall is in use with 5 other ones open. It is impossible for us both to get into a regular stall, barely able to on the handicapped, sometimes i have to put it outside the stall. You have NO CLUE what it is like if you dont live it.
MY RANT about this.
BY The way, i was near chicago one day and the radio program of Kathy and Judy was on WGN, It was the only station I could get anywhere anytime driving between customers at that time. Back to the story, they were talking about restrooms, etc, I called in and said I go into womens's rooms all the time. They put me on the air live, and I talked to them about what we had to do, In all my times in the last 25 years, I have NEVER had ANY lady say something to me out of the ordinary, the most common thing is a Whoops, then they see me pushing her in, and normally smile. Several have said, glad you help her. we use to travel by plane until people could not wait for her to limp down aisle, then she got weaker to not be able to walk. then we had to go to car and make pit stops every two hours max. Now we are limited to about 30 miles from home, makes one glad to have done stuff when younger, when you can.
Beautiful part is she is HAPPY< says "I" could be dead | |
