| Just celebrated 4 years with my new shoulder. 48 when I had it done and due to my age did not due a reverse replacement because of the lifting restrictions (weight and nothing overhead). Was told if/when this one wears out could do a revision and it would likely be a reverse. First six weeks was rough and PT was not fun but absolutely follow their instructions and do your exercises. I wish I had developed the habit of continuing the exercises - I think it would have helped maintain strength in my joint. | |
