coast of Maine | I had a similar issue,shower valve was on exterior wall.House had been blown in insulation(fiberglass like cotton balls) and resided.It was a steel tub with a shower.Cut a whole in fiberglass surround to see what issue was.Figured I would get a nice stainless panel to cover hole.Having a spare shower I let this set for a while.Decided to destroy tub with mall(too big of steel tub to get out doors) ,cut out all issues and put in a new shower tub combo with controls against the inside wall ,cut sheet rock access hole as above.PIA but way nicer system now. | |
