NW Iowa | Had a neighbor looking for new loader tractor about 7-10 years ago. Bought a used T6050 NH with a Freedom mount 440 on it. He has been very happy with loader but not so happy with tractor. He likes the smaller loader so he can see better while driving around calves and feeding. It has held up very well. Yes the electric quick tach for the bucket froze up one time after a lot of snow melted and then froze hard so had to heat up quick tach to get to change from bucket to spear.
Yes the fittings are all special to Westendorf and that is a huge pain. The hydraulic manifold on side of tractor to disconnect loader hoses leaks and have to go to Westendorf for special fittings. Big pain and too expensive for what they are!!!!
Loader is a dream to mount and dismount. Great visibility to see around!!!! Loader has been plenty heavy built even with mfd. Had to add rear weight to the tractor to keep traction on back end and not use mfd all the time.
Now tractor is a different story. Plenty of nickle and dime problems we won't talk about here. | |
