red1962 - 1/2/2023 19:28i like having easy access to plumbing in our basement but thats all. unless its a walkout style i would not want my kids sleeping down there in case of a fire. going up and down stairs is not for older people either. spend your money above ground !
That is why egress windows are required to sleep in a basement.
