I’ve been told that skipping breakfast is counterproductive because it slows the metabolism.
I believed that until I moved "breakfast" to noon. That, a bit of exercise, and no evening snacks got me from 220 to 185. I'm up a bit since mid summer, and splurged on the evening snacks NYE, so yesterday I was 196. Still aiming for 180. The science that says breakfast is necessary is probably the same quality as the science that says we'll die of heart disease if we eat eggs and butter. |
