Animal fat is your friend. Eat fatty meat.
Eat meat for nutrition, low carbohydrate vegetables if you want for taste.
I'm 6'2". Was at your weight. Took less than a year to become weight stable at 165-170. But the weight loss was only a side effect in reality. Whole list of health improvements. When the health improved, the weight came off naturally. Been weight stable 3 years now.
