Winnipeg is built in a bog. Some places it's black dirt 30 ft down, some places it's that loon crap silty clay. Really unstable and 1950s houses develop a lean. House movers are busy in the winter in Winnipeg. Pretty much lift it and slide it to the back of the lot (pending on room), while contractors pour a new basement in same location.
