SW Minnesota | We did that. Used ICF and made the new basement floor a foot higher than the old one. Put in floor heat in the basement. Put in the Geo heat. Moving the house and raising the level of the basement floor gave us a walk out basement that was way more pleasant. Did this part of the project 12 years ago. 3 biggest items were: 1) ICF. $50,000. 2)Moving house onto new basement $8,000 3) Hooking up plumbing $8000. We strung the floor heat tubing and bought the tubing materials and were our own General contractor. All prices are 12 years old and rounded down to the nearest $1000. | |
