| Me too - other than going back to run the combine in the fall. I made the mistake of doing that the first year and not charging my brother anything. He is having a hard time finding a replacement for me.
On the motorcycle - if it wasn't for the fact of my spending the summer in BC swinging my flies for steelhead, I would have owned a Triumph Rocket 3 here in the Hills. I still miss riding. But, this last summer, I left and headed north on june 4th, and I returned just in time for the harvest in late September. I keep telling my wife that - maybe when I'm too old to walk out into the current of the Skeena River and make a spey cast, I'll buy the Triumph. (g)
But, you and I are not the problem. We support ourselves. I've always said that sending our money overseas for stuff and paying people here to do nothing will not work for long.
Of course, I remember one guy on this forum years ago that was arguing that the Magic Money Tree would never be a problem since we had the world's reserve currency. And, people here were wanting to believe him. | |
