Cleveland, MS. Own small farm near Booneville, MS

In the early 2000s the church where I preached at the time (western NY) decided to put on a 60x30 addition. We got a quote from a local traditional/stick building firm of $150/sq. ft. One of the members had just built a new house and gave us the name of his contractor. We contacted the guy and got that same structure built for $76/sq. ft. The studs came in on a flat bed truck already put together in sections. They were set in place on a concrete slab foundation with a crane and nailed together by 3 or 4 guys with nail guns. Roof trusses came in the same way. The addition is still good and is still being used. No problems so far. They company called it "pre-engineered construction." If I was building a house today I would take a serious look at having it done that way.
