Problem was, it was not in stock at the pharmacy. In the mean time we were heading south to Arizona that year so we could not take it with us. Stopped at a farm store on the way. Got the prescription filled a couple months later when we got back home.
We still have most of that original prescription in the bottle. So that ought to tell you what we have taken when we think we needed it. For horses, I prefer the white paste over the apple flavored gel. Zimectin I think is the brand. It is not to be used for human consumption though, so does not apply to this thread. All a person wants is the ones with ONLY Ivermectin in them. There are other horse wormers that are multi purpose and have other chemicals in them. That other chemical might not be appropriate for the horse you are contemplating. | |
