| I have been getting error messages when using MS office. I am able to go to my tables, and I have been able to go to the query page and open queries. However, when I go to the report section and open a report, I get a dialog box which says:
" MS Access has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
Then I am given the choice to click to repair the database and restart MS Access.
Then I am given the choice to send or not to send an error report to Microsoft.
It does give me the option of seeing a technical report, but I can't make sense of it.
Questions:
1) how do I find out what is causing this problem?
2) how do I fix it? can I fix it by reinstalling MS Office?
I am using MS Office XP, on a computer with Windows XP.
I do not seem to have problems using MS Word or MS Excel, only MS Access.
Thanks for any help you can suggest.
