Schlegel Farms, Hagerstown Indiana | Have a hopper wagon that holds about 250 bushel of shelled corn. It has 11Lx15 6ply tires on it, and it seems that I had several flats on it last year (first year I owned the wagon). The tires don't look to bad tread wise, but they are six years old (age of wagon), and have seen a lot of road use.
Question is: Is this a big enough tire for this wagon, when I replace the tires should I go to a heaver ply rating, or maybe 12.5 tire if they will fit the rims?
