Subject: Can I connect a DJI p3 pro controller to a p3 standard?

West central Illinois

Iv got a wrecked p3 pro and I bought a p3 standard but the controller keeps loosing signal after a minute or two. It has the new firmware and iv reconnected it several times no luck getting it stick. Can I connect my old controller from the pro to the standard?
