Subject: Harvesting twin rows?

I would be very worried about harvesting twin rows. When combineing corn you don't have to be very far off the row before you see corn falling off and hitting the ground, I would think to make it work you would have to slow down and stay just perfect in the row. I can see where taller corn would help but you can' always make that happen. Just wondering what you guys have been experienceing.
