LaForge, MO | I just ran a new crop budget based on the new fert. price I was quoted and yesterdays close on 09 crops. 150 bu corn equals 43 bu beans. A 230.00 cost per acre difference. This year my corn ran 85 bu/acre to 185 bu/acre. My beans ran 25 bu/acre to 50 bu/acre. It looks like I will be planning on mostly beans this year. Does anyone think that the markets will be buying corn acres in Dec/Jan?? | |
