Over the weekend we posted another round of harvest survey reports from the readers of our Southern Grain newsletter. Most of the reports covered soybeans. I think we added about 25 updates to the page. This was our last survey for the year for most of our newsletters, but we will continue updating the page as people file late reports. We do these surveys each fall to give our readers an overview of how things are finishing up, both regionally and locally. Nothing fancy or scientific. Click here to see the most recent updates.
Our readership also includes farmers and crop advisers outside of the South, so in the last couple of weeks we've had survey responses from Pennsylvania, Illinois, Ohio and central Missouri. If you would like to take part in the soybean survey, click here.
Respondents are only identified by location (state and county/parish) and occupation (grower, dealer rep, consultant, etc.). We always figure that people will be a little more frank about things if we do these anonymously.
Links to our other crop surveys include: Midsouth Cotton Southeast Cotton California Cotton Rice Peanuts We'll post any new responses as they roll in.
