Subject: Foliar nitrogen results...anyone?

SE Iowa
Talking to different retailers and suppliers this summer, there seemed to be quite a run on the various slow release foliar nitrogen products in corn and soybean country. Just curious if anyone did any trials, and came up with an opinion, positive or negative. If it is still too early to have assimilated that data, it would be great if you could post findings when there is something to post.

My personal experience this year was with United Suppliers SRN 28, applied in strips/blocks at 2 gpa to several varieties of beans in the R4-R5 range. I did not weigh any side by sides, but going striclty off of raw yield data, I did not accomplish what I was hoping. Beans were good, just not significantly different than the untreated.
