Subject: Triple Stack VS Conventional

West Central MN
Is anybody seeing the Conventional Corn doing better than the GMO corn? I was in a field with my refuge at 30% of field, (seed issues) and it was yielding 20 bushels better than the Triple stack corn. This field has had soybeans on it and alfalfa for the past 4 years. This is making me believe that there may not be the worms and troubles out there like the other rotational crops I have. I couldn't believe the conventional corn did as well as it did. No stalks broke over or nothing. Very impressive. Does this mean we should be doing a better rotation with wheat and alfalfa? I'm just puzzled really and don't know how to approach this next year now. I have one other field that was in this 5 year alfalfa rotation left to do which I should be taking out by the end of week. I'll post here how that one did when I do it. All I know is that for a potential profit of close to a $100/acre, I better be paying close attention to what's going on.
