So after receiving the DJI P4 and as the weather has been more cooperative, have got the chance to fly the quad a few times. Interested to hear others first hand thoughts.
My initial unboxing thoughts- heavier duty, more refined, not as "Chinese as P1,P2,P3". A+
Connecting to Quad even quicker than P3pro A++
Firmware updates couldn't really be any easier- My grandma could handle this. A++

Flights-
S mode (Sport) mode- This thing is quick! 46mph!
Not sure I will use the built-in avoidance features as I didn't need them before, but nice to have if I perhaps let a "noob" grab the remote from me for a little spin.
Video Feed not quite as good as P3 pro from these first few flights. .71 mi and I was losing FPV via lightbridge. Many people talking about this on www.phantompilots.com forum, some calling it the "New and improved CandleLightBridge". Hopefully an update with firmware on this from DJI soon. (I completely understand the fly within line of sight rules guys... But we are flying in fields that are longer than a mile in certain cases... Can easily lose line of sight in hundreds of feet as we probably all have done and do...)
Plan to give DroneDeploy app a try in the next few days. See a few others have tried it out and it worked flawlessly! Kudos to DroneDeploy.

Waiting on spare batteries, case, and filters, to come next week.
