Subject: ez-guide 500 questions/mojo/jd/topcon

South Australia
The neighbour has the following
JD integrated steering and variable rate box on the colour JD display on SF1 ITC receiver
Ez-guide 500 autonomous (australia) with rinex autospray 7500

Problems.
The ez-guide 500 has no corrections therefore if a paddock is not finished in a short enough period the GPS position moves. The line can b moved on the 500 but the autospray data cannot be moved. Causing autospray problems.

Possible solutions
Upgrade SF1 receiver to Sf2 (and as i understand it continue to use SF1) and get it to transmit RTCM-SC-104 corrections to the ez-guide 500 and the rinex autospray (or if not possible just use it to send into the autospray)

Rinex saturn series are able to receive GPS from a SF1 receiver through canbus, the rinex autospray is also canbus compatable, does this mean that this is also possible without upgrading the greenstar ITC receiver to SF2?

The problem with this solution is the receiver would not be available during sowing as it would be used on the seeding tractor.

Buy a mojo console and base to replace the JD receiver and also use it to input the corrections in the RTCM-SC-104 format

Buy the mojo console and topcon radio and pay a subscription to a basestation network

buy a marine beacon receiver, are they all capable of transmitting RTCM-SC-104 format into the 500 or only the AgGPS132 (is that receiver still available)

Any other ideas?

Thanks for input

With version 3.0 firmware for the EZ-Guide 500 and 1.0 firmware for the EZ-Guide 250 the receiver can be configured to allow an External DGPS correction signal from an Ag132 beacon receiver, for instance, generating corrections in RTCM-SC-104 format. Set the AgGPS 132 in RTCME mode and set the EZ-Guide to External Corrections.
