Subject: CAse IH 4WD hydraulics

Rivers, MB
Had Case mechanic come out and flow test our hydraulics on our 9370 and 9180. Both are supposed to put out 27 gpm. 9370 was 20 gpm at 2500 psi and 9180 was 17 gpm at 2500 psi. This was through 1 set of remotes. Why do you think I'm not getting close to what its supposed to put out. Should you be able to get 27 gpm through one set of remotes on the tractor or was my flow being limited by just testing one set of remotes at a time. Is that why when running a hyd. driven grain cart, they recommend hooking it up to 2 remotes? What other factors would affect flow. Changing hydraulic filtes might help? Is there an inlet screen in the tank where the hyd. pump draws oil that can plugged up?
