Subject: Ezboom & 500 CaseIH 3185

North Central Kansas
Neighbor has a Caseih 3185 that they put a 500 & EZBoom in. They can't seem to get the boom pressure up. When they are running 10mph @ 10 gallon with the Turbo Teejet tips the pressure doesn't want to get above 20psi when it should be pushing 60+psi. They accidently turned the swich on for the foamer and the rate came up to where it should be. All of their boom sections come on and everything else works fine. I told them they probably need a bigger tip to run that fast, but that won't help if they can't build pressure. I had trouble with mine yesterday coming up with an error on the flow control valve driver -1ma. Checked connections and put new flow control valve on and still had problem. Reset the unit and it seemed to correct itself. The old valve would not turn at all so I am sure there was something wrong with it. When I went to spray it would drop to zero pressure when the valves turned on.
