| I'm not trying to make a joke, after using auto steer last year for the first time I am sold on the benefits that it brings even just for the relaxation of not having to fight the steering all the way through the field planting or working ground.
I see Deere has come out with iTEC now to turn the tractor around, don't know if it will work for us or the details on how it will work. Personally what I would rather have is something that I could set that would simply stop the tractor if it got to within a preset distance from the field border. The older I get and the harder we run it's easier for me to fall asleep while the tractor is on auto steer. I've caught myself a couple times before any damage was done, but this is feature that I'd love to have as a safe guard.
Is anyone else worried about this like I am or does everyone else get enough sleep they don't ever have a problem in the field?
