I was talking to some Stoller reps yesterday, and I wanted to get peoples opinion. They seem to have a lot of university research data behind them. I would like thoughts on the products from people that have used them, not just someone spouting off about "snake oil", I want your experiance.

I saw their ad with all the university names in it, but when I googled around trying to find out more, I got hardly anything that wasn't on Their site. Anybody find independant data??

I've been tinkering with hormone products derived from Stoller for 5 years. They have their place. I have a client that applied X-Tra Power on yellow, drought stricken soys foliar with no visual response, he applied 10-10-10 Alpine with no visual response, he mixed them together and the soys turned green. We have no data, this is just fooling with a backpack sprayer.
I've listened to Jerry Stoller talk a few times now, he is a very intelligent guy with lots of experience. If you get a chance to listen in on him, do it. I think their products are well worth doing some learning with. Also, they have some great literature on identifying deficiencies in crops. Phone them in Texas and they will send you them.

I've used Stimulate, COMO, and Bio Forge in the past. I feel their products do indeed have a place. Especially in the fruit and irrigated crops. Last year we had our worst drought locally in our records (40+ years), and I still saw results. Changing ratios and rates of hormones in furrow with corn brought the roots and leaves right where they said they'd go. Certain fields we tried to get deeper rooting, and it worked. Others shallower or more lateral root growth. Did it. Only wish the products would have caused the heavens to open up and give us some life!! If only I had irrigation, I believe the products would create greater profits every time. Definitely trying some this year again.
