Oakes, ND | My MX270 started acting up this afternoon pulling manure tank. I kept getting a trans fault indication in the hour display. I pulled the codes and this is what they read:
01- 05031
02- 05021
03- 05011
Could someone tell me what these codes are for, and what may be causing them. Could I have a loose electrical connection, poor ground, or a sensor going bad? Or is it worse, with an actual mechanical problem in the transmission? The fault shows up at random, sometimes at idle, parked, waiting to fill the tank, other times it comes up while downshifting, still other times it pops up just driving along. It seems to me that my shift modulation has gotten worse, with downshift being the worst, but upshifts also seem rougher. I would describe it as a hard, slamming shift that really shakes everything, instead of the smoother shifts I had before.
Any help would be appreciated.
