Subject: Garmin etrex legend recieving WAAS ?

Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND
Someone please help me understand what I am reading in my Garmin Etrix Legend operators manual.
It says that" any satellite on the page with a number 33 or higher is a WAAS satellite" I have a number 43 although the signal strength bar is tall but grey instead of black like the GPS satelites.
It also says that if the GPS satellites have a letter "D" in the signal strength bar, they are receiving differantial correction data.
I have the letter "D" in the GPS signal bars, Does this all mean that the gps unit is recieving WAAS signals and using it to correct the GPS satellite signals ? TIA.
