whitehall maryland | Looking at the current lamb prices, would it be feasible to purchase a group of feeder lambs and fatten them out in some type of semi confinement facility. We had a a flock of thirty or so ewes growing up, basically a four h progect that went wild. Dad used to lamb in september and sell most to the ethic christman hot house lamb market, then finish a few as well. I currently market natural beef through a distributor and several restaurants, all have questioned me about raising sheep.Thanks in advance for everyones input | |
