Eastern Kansas | My brothers and I will be marketing around a hundred feeders in mid October. We want to market them in a manner that lessens the risk of taking them to the local salebarn. If they happen to sell 5 cents off on sale day at the local barn we could pretty easily lose money on them. So, we want to lessen our risk in the marketing process. We decided to look into Superior Livestock sales. I am curious if any of you have any experience with Superior and what you think about them. It appears from their website that Superior has two methods to market them, either with a video sale on RFDtv, or with a private treaty auction on their website. Either way we will be able to put a reserve price down to ensure we don't lose money on them. Is either method better than the other? Any other advice or suggestions would be much appreciated. | |
