Subject: Using Geo-Textile fabric for feed bunk base?

South Central Kansas, Harper County
In the process of installing the feedbunks in my corral I have been building for the past several weeks. Priced a roll of geotextile fabric for $1,005.00(15'x300'). In my situation, I feel the geotextile might work better than concrete. I already have my pipe posts installed, so to pour concrete would take two forms, one on each side of posts, and seems like a lot more work. From what I have gathered from talking to people with the geotextile, it would work great in this situation. I was curious, with those of you who have used this product, what type of rock did you purchase to pour on top of the geotextile?
thanks,
Jim
