OK | Just purchased a herd of cows/heifers that will calve this fall and am considering AI on them rather than buying a bull(s); I realize I will still need clean-up bulls and want to know some thoughts on leasing a bull vs buying? Can you lease bulls with decent EPD's, if so, where (either angus or hereford), and what does a typical bull lease entail as far as how long you get to keep him, number of cows to breed per bull, and cost per cow bred?
